Middle School Bands Earn Two “Superior” Ratings at High Notes Music Festival
On Friday, June 1, HCS Middle School bands performed at the High Notes Music Festival in Pennsylvania. The HCS Jazz Band and 5/6 Concert Band both earned ratings of “Superior.” This is the first time since HCS began competing that one of the bands has received this distinction. Additional congratulations to Grace Conlin, Lucy Hartigan, and Ally Fung, who had solos during Jazz Band performance. The 7/8 Concert Band earned a rating of “Excellent.”
