HCS Girls Who Code Meet the First Civilian Woman in Space!

On Thursday, October 5, 2017 several members of the HCS Middle School Girls Who Code (GWC) club attended a program, “Solve For XX: A Celebration of Women in Mathematics” at the Museum of Mathematics in New York City. At the event, students heard a presentation from Anousheh Ansari, the first civilian woman in space. Students not only got hear her incredible life story, but meet her as well.
